Fun at Craft Club
The P5 pupils have started to meet on a Monday after school to run a craft club for themselves.
We have been having good fun making friendship bracelets, hamma beads, sewing and hope to do lots more.
We might even manage to make enough things to sell to raise money for Haiti.
We hope that the rest of the P5’s enjoy it as much as us, from Kirstin and Leah!

Our topic is recycling .We are learning how our school can become more eco friendly. In class and P.E we are eating healthly and improving our fitness. Our E.R.I.C reading is educational and fun. It is a treat to read in the library corner and others read at their tables.

A message from Ms Banks
I didn’t make it to school today because of the snow. Lots of snow fell overnight and I couldn’t get my car out. I would like to wish everybody at Raigmore Primary a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. A special thanks to my class for tidying up the classroom and I hope you managed to do the Xmas Factor. See you all in 2010!

All the cast on the stage
Yesterday, we had a Nativity service in the school. The Primary 3’s acted out the first Christmas while the rest of the school were singing the songs to go with the story. It was fun on the stage although we were all a bit nervous! I think I was good at pretending to be scared of the angels, although Leah is my best friend and was the angel. Connor was really good at being a Wise Man because he looked for the star a lot while walking round the stage.
We think the singing was really good and Mrs Murray played the piano really well.
We hope everyone has a lovely Christmas!
Zoe and Sophie, P3.

A small group using the fans
Every day we do mental maths. Sometimes we use the fans to show our answers. We sometimes pick question masters to sit on the chair and ask everyone else questions. We like doing question about number before, number after and number between. We really enjoy mental maths and it teaches us loads about our maths.

P6 have been learning about Europe this term. We were given a Home Link Activity by Ms Banks to make a model of any famous building or statue in Europe. The results are AMAZING!!! The buildings included the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the O2 Arena, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, the Atomium in Brussels, The Arc de Triomphe, Brandenburg Gate, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Littel Mermaid statue in Denmark...
Have a look and tell us what you think....by P6
